Last night I went to a fundraiser for an awesome family. The mother owns the dance studio where Karlee dances. Her 9 year old son has brain cancer. There was such an amazing crowd. The dances were amazing. Infinity performed 2 dances that were choreograophed especially for this event by Kassie Searle, she is amazing. I don't think there was a dry eye in the building when they finished those dances. Aubrey drove up for the evening. We (me, Kristy, and Aubrey) have a dance crush on Amber. She has been dancing for Infinity for years. She is so amazing. We were all so disappointed to find out that she didn't make it to the finals on SYTYCD. They don't know what they're missing. She is truly amazing. Fun night with my girls, even if we had to sit behind a clueless woman and her STICKIN cute baby.

New Beginnings

So, I've been thinking alot about the last year and I feel like I didn't really accomplish much. I've decided that it's about time to change that. I've decided that now is the time for me to take control of my healt, not let my health control me!!!! That's a huge step for me. First on my list is to add some sort of excerise to my daily routine. I just bought a WII, so my goal is to get out the WII fit plust, and use it at least 3 times a week. That seems pretty doable to me. Second on my list is to eat healthier (notice I said healthier, not healthy). I plan to take it day by day and not put too much pressure on myself, but enought to notice a difference. And third on my list is to try to make a difference in someone elses life. I'm not sure how I'm going to accomplish that, but I know I'll come up with a plan.

Newest Obsession

My newest obsession is going to food blogs. There are so many to choose from. I've found some great recipes. I need to get another obsession or I'll end up weighing 200 pounds. And so will my family. They seem to enjoy my new recipes also.

Woo Hoo!

Woo Hoo! I finally got word that my short term disability leave was approved. Now I'll get a paycheck for the last 3 months that I was off work. I'm so excited and what a relief. I'm not sure what I would do if it didn't get approved since WAMU was so "nice" and laid me off. Also, today I bought me a new camera. Now I'll see if I'm smart enough to download pictures. I found this new website. . .It's www.hatsandflowers.com. They sell hats, headbands, and flowers. I ordered me a hat and flower. They came within a week. They are sooo cute! Check them out. I got the brown houndstooth hat, and a cream flower. They fit good, and I think they look good on everyone. I'm seriously going to order another one. The hats are $18.00 and the flowers are 6.00.

Oh yeah

I almost forgot, I finally got my copy of Breaking Dawn. I was so mad that it took so long, I'll never pre order again. Back to the book, so far it's as good as I thought it would be. My eyes were getting so blurry, I had to put it down. I can hardly wait to find out how it ends!

Good News

I had a CT scan this morning, and I was amazed, they didn't find anything unusual. I don't get those kind of results very often, so I felt like that was good news! Now I can relax and plan our New York trip. We leave in less than 2 weeks. It amazes me how fast time flies. We've booked two things while we're there, we're going to see a broadway play, and we're taking a boat ride at Niagra Falls. I think we go under the falls. We're doing the Maid of the Mist, and the Cave of the winds. It's a 5 hour excursion! Anyway, I'm pretty excited. We're driving from NYC up to Buffalo, and taking in all of Larry and Randy's favorite fishing holes. Of course, he is taking along his fly pole, so I don't know how much sight seeing we will get done. It should be a great trip.
Larry has finally finished Lizzi's kennel, and it looks pretty darn good. As he was building the roof, I told him that it looked like a manger. Now that it's finished, it doesn't look like that at all. He worked really hard on it, and as usual, it's top notch!
